Why become an AAFRE member?

Membership Categories and Fees

1. Charities, Foundations, and Not-For-Profit Organizations

Under this category, you must be an incorporated not-for-profit organization or a public institution. Up to three employees or representatives of your organization are allowed as members (one voting representative and two non-voting) with additional non-voting memberships available at $50 each per year. Fee: $200 per year.

2. Business

Commercial organizations, consulting firms, and professional corporations may join to support the goals of AAFRE. This membership category allows up to three employees or representatives of the business (one voting representative and two non-voting) with additional non-voting memberships available at $50 each per year. Fee: $200 per year.

3. Individual

A voting membership is offered for individuals who are employed by an incorporated not-for-profit organization or public institution; or employed in a fundraising consulting or professional business. Fee: $150 per year.

4. Associate

This is a non-voting membership for volunteers or students wishing to gain experience in the fundraising profession. Fee: $50 per year.

The activites of all members must be in accordances with AAFRE's Code of Ethics and Professional Practices and its bylaws.
